What is the Parent Commitment Campaign?
The Campaign is Kenter’s biggest fundraiser. We ask each family in the school to contribute $750. Families in the past have given anywhere from $15.00 to $15,000.00. Last year we raised over $350,000.00.
What do we do with the money raised?
The parents at Kenter have taken on the responsibility of paying all the enrichment teacher salaries. In other words, we provide the art, science, computer, library, physical education and music enrichment. We also pay stipends for each classroom, for special assemblies, field trips, playground maintenance and much more.
How do I give?
The Campaign kicks off at the beginning of the school year. Every class in the school hosts a dinner. At the end of this dinner, a short presentation is made explaining our budget needs and our fundraising goals. For those unable to attend, we mail this information as well as pledge cards. Pledge cards can be mailed in, dropped off at the office or returned that night at the dinner.
Can I donate later in the year?
Yes. Pledge cards are available in the office year round.
Can I pay in installments or by credit card?
Yes. You can split your payment and can pay by check or credit card.
Is my contribution tax deductible?
Yes. 100% of your pledge is tax deductible.
Do you accept matching grants, gifts from non-Kenter parents or stock?
Yes to all three. Thanks to the generosity of grandparents and company matching programs, we have raised thousands of dollars in additional funding.
I can only give $20.00 Am I expected to give?
Yes. We look for 100% participation. Every child benefits, everyday, from the funds we raise. Please give what you can.
Are donors recognized?
Yes. A Coyote list of all donors who give will be published on the web site and once a month in the Kenter Key. You can opt to give anonymously.
