The classes offered are as follows for each of the classes listed below:
Session 1, 6:00-6:45; and
Session 2, 7:00-7:45)
- Jackson Pollack Action Painting – Art Bin behind B1 (create a splatter abstract masterpiece)
- Aboriginal Art Rainmaker – Room 3 (explore a unique art & culture)
- Helen Frankenthaler Abstract Expressionism – Room 5 (Ms. Deborah inspired by the art pioneer Helen Frankenthaler will use unconventional tools and methods to create a unique masterpiece of your own)
- Seurat T-Shirt Design – Room 8 (design art you can wear)
- Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” – Room 7(make your own “Starry Night” masterpiece)
- Alexandar Clader Mobile – Room 102 (create a standing mobile and learn about balance and motion)
- Paul Klee Continous Line Drawing - Room 104 (Let your hand create realistic style drawing with one continuous line)
- Joseph Stella Mixed Media Project – Room 103 (create art using mixed media lines)
- Piet Mondrian Straight Line Design – Room 9 (create an abstract masterpiece)
- Paul Gauguin – Room 10 (Paint a landscape using creative color choices)
We kindly ask for Volunteers to assist in the classroom with the workshop leader with set up, prep, and clean up.
There is no fee to attend the workshops. Students must pre-register for workshops due to limited space.
Please have children dress accordingly. Stains may happen...!
* - Students K-1 must be supervised by a parent during workshops.
