Kenter Canyon's Cub Scout Pack 117
First graders are Tigers, Second Graders are Wolves, Third Graders are Bears, and Fourth and Fifth Graders are Webelos Scouts. Kindergarteners, you can officially join the Pack when you’re in 1st grade, but in the meantime, please come and participate in our events and get to know us. 6th graders through High School are Boy Scouts.
Pack meetings are for all dens, usually held every third Thursday night (during the school year) at 6:30pm at Kenter. Den meetings – just your child’s grade level – are usually held twice per month, and usually on weekend afternoons.
Come see what we do!
In Cub Scouts, we have a whole-family approach, it's loaded with activities, and we encourage you to bring the whole family, parents participate, and brothers and sisters are always welcome. We do require that one adult member, adult sibling, grandfather, uncle, cousin, close family friend, etc. accompany the Cub Scout at all activities and meetings.
We focus on building character and values, and having great outdoor fun. We hike, camp, work on outdoor skills, life skills and service activities. The kids develop a real sense of accomplishment by earning many awards and their rank requirements throughout the year. They learn to cooperate with each other during group activities, but mainly, they have a blast. To learn more, come to our next Pack meeting, and check the calendar on this page.
